About PT
Isn’t it a pain in the butt that all the networks unload their new shows at the exact same time? Presumably, most people have busy lives, and can’t check out every single show during one or two premiere weeks. It would make much more sense for something like a rolling start, where all the networks agree only to introduce a few shows per week. This way, if shows one week disappoint, viewers can try again with next week’s batch…instead of frantically setting DVR’s (for those lucky enough to have them), or praying that a show pilot will be available on Youtube soon.
But unfortunately the world doesn’t work that way, which is why this blog exists. Hi, I’m Jenna, and I’m going to be following five shows each new TV season. For these five shows, I will watch each and every episode until the half season ends whether the show turns out to be good or not, and review it in full detail. Also included will be lengthy recaps of the show so far, so that those who haven’t had a chance to watch the first couple of episodes can catch up.
Why only five shows? Well, a girl can only watch so much TV (and I’ve got established shows to watch too, who’s psyched for Medium?). If there’s a great show I’m missing, or a bad one people need to be warned about, let me know! I’ll try to add it to list. Or, you can write for Premiere Tracker yourself. Send me an email at premieretracker@aol.com, and we’ll talk.
